Who We Are
Our way of life is rooted in the Sermon on the Mount. From this shared life together comes all we do to serve others.
Koinonia is a Greek word found in the New Testament meaning “communion,” “fellowship,” or “community.” Inspired by the early Christians described in the Acts of the Apostles, our life is grounded in five pillars: prayer, work, study, service, and fellowship.
Founded in 1942, we seek to nourish the soil and the soul. Focusing on hospitality, sustainable farming, our internship program, and responding to the needs and challenges of the times, we offer what we can with the resources and people available.
Our Vision
Love through Service to Others
Joy through Generous Hospitality
Peace through Reconciliation

Our Mission
We are Christians called to live together in intentional community, sharing a life of prayer, work, study, service, and fellowship. We seek to embody peacemaking, sustainability, and radical sharing. While honoring people of all backgrounds and faiths, we strive to demonstrate the way of Jesus as an alternative to materialism, militarism, and racism.
